Zircon Sand

Zircon sand is often used in the manufacture of refractory materials (called zirconium refractory materials, such as zirconium corundum bricks, diamond refractory fibers), casting sand in the foundry industry, ceramics are made of enamel and porcelain, and are also used in glass, metal (sponge zirconium).) and zirconium compounds (zirconium dioxide, zirconium oxychloride, sodium zirconate, potassium fluorozirconate, zirconium sulfate, etc.) in the production.

In line with the corporate philosophy of "pioneering and innovative, excellence" and the business tenet of "winning customers with quality and building reputation with reputation", the company takes refining the essence of the industry and creating quality as its own responsibility, strives to develop, seek truth and innovation, so that our company's products cover the world

Zircon Sand

Application field:

Zircon sand is often used in the manufacture of refractory materials (called zirconium refractory materials, such as zirconium corundum bricks, diamond refractory fibers), casting sand in the foundry industry, ceramics are made of enamel and porcelain, and are also used in glass, metal (sponge zirconium).) and zirconium compounds (zirconium dioxide, zirconium oxychloride, sodium zirconate, potassium fluorozirconate, zirconium sulfate, etc.) in the production.

Pure zircon sand usually appears in a colorless and transparent state, forming a square column structure. It is often dyed yellow, orange, red, and brown due to different origins, different types and quantities of impurities, with a hardness of 7.8, a specific gravity of 4.6- -4.71, a refractive index of 1.93- -2.01, birefringence, direct light absorption; low magnetic susceptibility, non-conductive; melting point of 2550C. It is mostly symbiotic with ilmenite, rutile, monazite, yttrium phosphate ore, etc., and is obtained after separation by mineral processing such as water separation, electric separation, and magnetic separation. Its theoretical composition is ZrO2 and Sio2. And a small amount of impurities such as Fe20g, Cao, Al2O3, etc. Theoretically pure zircon sand contains 67.23% Zr02 and 32.77% SiO2:
